Pot dog ‘Bullseye’
Made in earthenware and washed with oxides.
23cm high by 35 long, £150.
No particular inspiration for this character, he just ‘appeared’ after taping bubble wrap together into a doggish shape and rolling out clay and draping it over the form created. It did not come together quite as quickly as the description – the bubble wrap frequently collapses at a critical point, and I fuss too much with the detail

Westie
A heavyweight (literally) dog. made with a coarse grogged sculpture clay.
40cm high by 39cm long
Took a lot of dripping, dipping and rolling clay to get the shaggy dog look! It could sit outside if protected from
severe frosts. To move it about
I suggest wearing gloves.

Lilies
Porcelain and white earthenware on copper stem. The lily is about 15cm long, with the stem, approx 55cm total. These lilies pushed into a pot of Peace lilies look confusingly realistic. The design was originally created for one of the workshops.
